Sono state annunciate questa mattina a Beverly Hills le
candidature all'ambita settantaduesima edizione dei Golden Globe Awards,
premi per piccolo e grande schermo, i cui vincitori saranno proclamati in pompa magna a Los
Angeles l'11 Gennaio 2015.
Per quanto riguarda i premi cinematografici, i Golden Globe sono considerati da molti l'anticamera
degli Oscar: basti pensare che
lo scorso anno, per quanto riguarda i riconoscimenti più importanti, gli Academy sembrarono giusto una replica. A condurre la baracca con ben sette nominations è
Birdman di Inarritu, seguito a ruota da
Boyhood di Linklater e
The Imitation Game di Tyldum. Come di consueto, l'opera di Nolan è stata piuttosto bistrattata, mentre
Gone Girl di Fincher (in uscita da noi il 18 Dicembre) è stato snobbato tra i miglior film, ma candidato nella miglior regia, miglior sceneggiatura e miglior attrice per la bella Rosamund Pike. Buono anche il piazzamento di
Grand Budapest Hotel di Wes Anderson, che potrebbe vincere come miglior film commedia, miglior regia e miglior sceneggiatura.
Per quanto riguarda le serie televisive, troviamo inaspettatamente
True Detective nella categoria miniserie, assieme a
Fargo e
The Normal Heart: una scelta che sicuramente penalizzerà i premi per le interpretazioni, dato che i pezzi da novanta si ritroveranno l'uno contro l'altro. Resta quindi un po' sguarnita la categoria
drama, che, vista anche la conclusione (e quindi l'assenza, per la prima volta dopo sei anni) di
Breaking Bad, vede quei colossi di
Game of Thrones,
Downton Abbey,
The Good Wife e
House of Cards contro la neonata
The Affair.
